At Casa Batllo in Barcelona, Spain

If you ended up here, you probably already know me, but I thought it might be good to introduce myself anyway.

My name is Rob and I live in what is known as the Hub City.

I am married and have two children. My wife teaches college English. My son is a semester away from graduating and wants to pursue a career in music management/marketing. My daughter just wants to be done with high school.

We also have a dog who runs the house, just don’t tell her. We are still trying to keep it a secret from her.

I am a small groups minister full-time, and occasionally teach Bible courses at a university in town.

We are just wrapping up a semester spent in Spain teaching with our university’s Global Campus program, which has been a fantastic experience. Expect to read about reflections on our study abroad experiences.

We have a pop-up travel trailer we have named Vamoose, which we are improving and want to spend more time camping in this upcoming year. Expect to read reflections on this, as well.

We love National Parks, State Parks, and now, travelling abroad. We are trying to add to the number of parks and countries we have visited. We’re not experts but will probably reflect on our travels here.

I am not blogging as a side-hustle or a way to change the world, but as a way to collect thoughts and reflections. If you find anything written here beneficial or thought provoking, great! I hope you will stick around. If it’s not, thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it.

Enjoy!
